Spring Hill

The home was already undergoing an extensive renovation when we were invited to join the team. Our goal was to design and build a luxurious, elegant outdoor living space that would complement the modern updates to the home. The client requested a simple, sleek, and functional design that seamlessly blended with the home’s architecture.

Our scope of work encompassed the entire property, featuring a vanishing edge pool, spa, outdoor fireplace, water feature, and several entertainment spaces paved with silver travertine. The project also included two driveway arrival courts and comprehensive planting, irrigation, and lighting throughout.

Front Yard Plantings – The front yard combines evergreen structure with seasonal charm, featuring holly, osmanthus, boxwood, and abelia. Summer color is added by flowering spirea and liriope.

Close-Up of Plantings – A closer view showcases the lush, mature plantings, designed to provide year-round greenery and elegance, just as the client envisioned.

Family Entrance and Driveway – The side family entrance invites guests into the backyard, while the paved driveway offers versatility as an additional entertainment space or catering setup area.

Bubbling Urn – A bubbling urn enlivens the journey to the backyard, introducing sound and movement to the tranquil outdoor space.

Raised Bed for Herbs and Veggies – Along the path to the backyard, a raised bed brims with fresh veggies and herbs, bringing practicality and charm to the peaceful side yard.

Vanishing Edge Pool and Deck – The sleek, stylish outdoor space is centered around a vanishing edge pool, paired with a silver travertine deck. The lower terrace, complete with an outdoor fireplace, creates a perfect space for entertaining.

Flagstone and Travertine Detailing – The flagstone coping, step treads, and patio banding offer a striking contrast to the silver travertine paving, enhancing the modern aesthetic.

Outdoor Grilling Station – Compact and functional, the custom-built grilling station features synthetic cabinetry and a soapstone countertop, blending style with durability.

Stucco Fireplace and White Brick Walls – The stucco fireplace and white brick walls reflect the home’s architecture, creating a welcoming space for outdoor entertaining in all but the coldest weather.

Vanishing Edge Pool Features – The vanishing edge pool introduces sound and movement to the garden, while a large planter cleverly replaces the need for a railing where the pool meets the patio at the house corner.

Water Wall Terrace – Outside the client’s home office, the newly planted terrace offers a serene retreat. The sound of water gently cascading down the wall adds to the tranquility of the space.

Bluestone and Travertine Craftsmanship – Bluestone, silver travertine, and Azul building stone blend harmoniously to create intricate terrace detailing. Hand-chiseled flagstone treads and ashlar stonework with tight joints showcase the craftsmanship of our masons.
