Peninsula Point is a unique property overlooking the Severn River. It is a low-lying tidal property occasionally inundated with brackish water. Our role as landscape contractor was to replace the existing pool and pool cabana with a new modern style vanishing edge pool and pool house complete with kitchen and guest bedroom. Additionally, we built decks, pergolas, gates, and all the stonework in the landscape and on the house facade. We planted the entire property with wetland, native, and ornamental plantings.
Our carpenters and masons constructed the modern style ipe portico and stone entry.
A nanawall door system seamlessly connects the pool house to the pool terrace.
A view from the pool terrace through the ipe pergola and gate offers a glimpse of the coffee deck overlooking the river.
The new plantings and renovated home are connected with grass pathways and boardwalks.
The new upper and lower ipe decks terrace the waterfront slope.
Bolder out crops and native plantings retain the slope and create space for the firepit.
Native plantings of clethra and bayberry buffer the shore line of this unique peninsula property.
The new vanishing edge pool and pool house are strongly connected to the home with architectural details.
LED lighting enlivens the pool terrace at night.
